About Ryan Shafer
Ryan has lived in Chicago for his entire career, litigating cases throughout the Midwest. His legal career began at a firm that represented construction workers, factory workers, teachers, and others who battled cancer from asbestos exposure in Illinois and Wisconsin. For the last 15 years, he has continuously practiced in Social Security disability, with cases throughout the Midwest. This includes 10 years at the Social Security Administration's Office of General Counsel handling hundreds of federal court disability cases. Ryan also wrote disability decisions for Social Security Administrative Law Judges at the National Hearing Center and the Office of Hearing Operations in Chicago.
Ryan is honored to apply his knowledge and skills to fighting in federal court for those who need Social Security disability.
